Thanks for the information. And I got DTS X Ultra too. It is an app for setting the surround optionsDTS X is for home theatre setups, many speakers - https://dts.com/dtsx
DTS Headphone X is Surround sound for headphones - https://dts.com/headphonex
Ultra isn't mentioned on their website - https://dts.com/media-center/dts-launches-sound-unbound
I found a similar thing too. My speaker is from the early 2000 but it supports DTS(as reported by Windows) . I have also read somewhere that it will not be limited to 5.1 and 7.1 devices, all devices will support it. Therefore I think your speaker is using DTS X as it is not a headphone. Even if it is not compatible with DTS, the Unbound Surround app will bring in the compatibilityI guess Ultra is name of app, and the other two are the names of individual technologies that are supported by app
My speakers have DTS, wonder if its same as X or an older version? guess now I have questions
Meanwhile I used the Windows Sonic app today for spartialization and it worked. I was playing PUBG then. Might have to compare if Sound Unbound bring compatibility for this gameI have these, DTS is in the 1st feature block.
