What is the HD2500 on the i-5 for?

I am building a new machine for my gf, and I see HD2500 on the i-5 chips and I read about it, and it seems like a crappy onchip 3-d processor. What is this thing for? I still need a video card from what I can tell. I am not reading the benches wrong am I?

The HD2500 will be fine every days tasks and for playing HD video. It is also capable of very light gaming. Think of it as an advanced video card for business and home users. Unless your GF is hardcore gamer, should be fine for her needs.
