[SOLVED] What is the purpose of the 'CPU temperature LED switch' in the ASUS UEFI/BIOS?

Hi all,

What is the purpose of the 'CPU temperature LED switch' with an ON/OFF toggle under the 'monitoring' tab in the ASUS Rampage VI Extreme UEFI? I can't seem to find any information about it by searching the internet and there's nothing mentioned in the user manual.

Im not sure but my guess is that it resets the temp values in the Bois, just in case it's glitched and you can't tell the temp.
