Not a big film buff, but if I had to pick something I'd go with Blade Runner - the retro sci/fi and cyberpunk aesthetic was always really appealing to me, the plot is pretty interesting, though a bit slow paced. I enjoyed the book too.

No favorite movie but a series. Suits is my favorite one and scorpion is second. You should check those out.

Suits was good for a couple seasons but I think it fell in to the same trap that most other successful TV series fall prey to... they throw these ideas at the wall with a clear idea for the first season MAYBE the first two seasons, and if it becomes a hit and lasts longer than that, with no real long term story/plot, they just keep manufacturing stuff on a week to week or season to season basis. See examples like Dexter, Lost, Heroes, etc... Lost for example is a HUGE perpetrator of the "Very clear, intriguing, first season story, but then after that it's a revolving door of new random problems, new enemies/antagonists, etc to keep viewers coming back" and the random stuff they come up with is often that, extremely random and pointless. How much random crap was there in Lost that would straight up appear at the end of an episode and they'd be like "Tune in next week to find out what's going on with this polar bear on the island, or this giant white mist that is floating around killing people, or the mysterious underground hatch/bunker, blah blah blah". The Walking Dead is another shining example of the revolving door theory of story & plot lines

It's hard to tell, as it depends on the mood. But, the movie that I would always agree to watch : Some Like It Hot . It's simple, funny, and always makes me feel better.

Scott Pilgrim vs the World is a cinematic masterpiece.

Warrior is also on another level.

The Fifth Element is simultaneously a b-movie and not at the same time.

Honorable mentions:
Her
Interstellar
Nolan's Dark Night trilogy
Gattaca
Seven Pounds
The Perks of Being a Wall Flower
Moonrise Kingdom
Class Rank
A Knights Tale
Bad Words
(the height of Bateman's powers)
Rogue One

also worth mentioning unprompted:
Avatar the Last Airbender, though a TV show, is worth bringing up because it is by some significant margin the best-animated tv show ever made. No other category of video media has a property so dominant.

This needs an essay! :p

The Prestige, Lock Stock and two smoking barrels, Pulp Fiction, The Dark Knight are few that immediately come to mind.

REAL STEEL is still my all-time favorite movie. It had everything including action, drama, suspense and display of good response. If you haven't seen it yet, I think you need to watch it. The best movie for me.
