Question What motherboard should i buy?

Hi, I need a new mother board because I want to have a better expancion potential in the future. The rest of the components i have is:

-2x8gb crusial ballistix ddr4 2400MHz
-Palit GeForce GTX 1060 dual 3gb
-Asus PCE-AC55BT
-3 Noctua NF-A14
-1 Noctua NF-A12
-Crusial MX500 2.5" 250gb SSD
-Seagate Barracuda 2TB harddrive
-EVGA 650 GQ 650W
-Intel Core i5 8400 2,8 GHz 1151-2 socket
-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Need to be able to connect rgb led strips and rgb led components. No other colors on the motherboard then white black and purple. Pricepoint up to $170.

PS: preferably white with rgb lighting

With the idea of later being able to have the option to expand to a K sku CPU AND benefit from all the features of the Z series chipset, being the better option, are probably your two best choices.

There might be other good options as well, but there are relatively few white themed boards with good options for upgradeability and expansion later. Well, mostly there are just few white themed boards that don't have additional colors as well.

When you say in the future, you do realise after the i9's come out, the i10's are already on their way. I think they will need a new motherboard as well. Intel never likes to keep same chipset more than 2 generations of Cpus
