Hi guys!

I have a quick question. I have the Gigabyte Aorus RTX 3080 xtreme and I want to know which cables I have to buy for it.
The PSU I have is the Corsair RM850X (2021). Currently I am going to use the 3 6+2 pin connectors that came with the PSU. I haven't build it yet.

So if I want custom cables, that look better, which do I have to buy? Can I use two 6+2 and one 8 pin connector? Or isn't it a good idea to combine two different types of cables?

What is the most ideal? three 8 pin connectors? Or three 6+2 pin connectors? Or as I just asked, can I combine those? Because I have seen some kits, that come with two 6+2 and one 8 pin connector.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
The 6+2 cables are what you want to use.
The +2 allows the psu to have either 6 or 8 pin connections for graphics cards.
I would not try to buy "pretty" replacements or extensions.
What comes with the psu is going to work.
Other cables might not work properly and would likely void your psu warranty.

The cables that are 8 pin(4+4) only are almost certainly to be used for the motherboard EPS connections and not the gpu.
They likely will not even fit, don't try.

I've ordered three 6+2 white cables from Corsair though. They're compatible with the psu I have.
