Hi, I'm fairly new to building and have been upgrading my pc for over a year now.
I have recently purchased a new GPU GTX 1660 super ddr6 by MSI upgrading from my GTX 1050 TI LP by msi. which led to me needing to upgrade my PSU as I need a 8 pin pcie connector to power the new GPU as my older psu fps 350W does not have one.
My current build at the moment is:
Asrock Phantom gaming 4 B365M Motherboard
Intel i5 9400f CPU with Corsair AiO H100I cooler
2x 8gb dual channel RAM
128gb M.2 SSD
1Tb HDD
currently using GTX 1050 TI but switching to GTX1660 Super once I figure out what PSU to get.
Just wanted to know what wattage is required to power the build. I was looking at Corsair TX550M 80 plus Gold.
Is the wattage enough? or should I go for 600 plus?
I have a budget of £70 to spend on new psu.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated!!
