follow up to a previous post...anyone care to share what their average temps are (idle and say under moderate/heavy load-gaming).

91c seem high under load?

and that's under load?

ok....maybe it's time to move to a bigger case. i figure the coolermaster would do it..but all summer i've had heat issues. but things are pretty tight in there.

A bigger case would do a lot for you, although you could just take a side off your computer and use the side as a fan. That's what I did. It builds arm strenght... Seriously, though 91 degrees celsius is HOT! 195.8 degrees fahrenheit... It might not do too much to the video cards performance, but it's gotta be affecting your CPU/memory temps. I try to keep mine from reaching 58/48 respectively. You could start doing damage to your computer.

EDIT: BTW, my temps peak out about 72 and that is under sustained serious load, like 2 3dMrak 05 benchmark tests real close to each other, or America's Army full everything (4x/8x AA/AF) at 1280x1024 for more than two hours. That's on a seriously OC'd 6800LE (almost getting GT performance out of it).
Edited by geek64bit on 10/13/05 11:15 AM.

Immediately after 2 hours of BF2, my 6800U temp was 60, dropping back to it's 51 degree idle temp in about 20-30 seconds. I've got a Antec Server case with 4 80mm fans not including the 500W Forton PS fans.
