I have been thinking about upgrading my computer again and was wondering what I should upgrade?
Here are the specs:
Mainboard: MSI Pro Z690-A wifi
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-Z690-A-WIFI
CPU: Intel Core i5-12600KF
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09FXFJW2F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1
Cooling: Noctua NH-U12S Redux
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08WPDD6GD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There is also 2 other fans, one on the front to suck air in and one on the back for exhaust. I wouldn't mind going with water cooling, but I do not trust myself to install it. Any mistake and I could ruin everything.
GPU: AMD Radeon RX7900 XTX
https://www.microcenter.com/product...d-triple-fan-24gb-gddr6-pcie-40-graphics-card
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RW6Z692/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
PSU: EVEA 1000w

Storage:
I also have 2 other hard drives, an SSD and an older platter drive.
Monitor: 24" AOC
Case: NZXT HS10
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TD9C5HS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s03?ie=UTF8&th=1
I thought to maybe change the CPU to something better.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for the help!
Now, I live in Ohio, in the USA. Preferred seller? I'm not picky. I mainly buy off of Amazon or go to Microcenter in Columbus.
My budget is, preferably less than 1k.
I use my computer for gaming, browsing the web, listening to music and watching movies.
Why do I want to upgrade my computer? Because I want to. I wouldn't mind it being cooler and the entire PC a little more future proof. I have no real complaints or problems with it. After 30+ years of having to 'make do' with what I can get, I finally have a job that affords me the luxury of having a good computer!
I do not want a bigger monitor and I already have a good new chair and new desk, so those aren't needed. Yes, you can upgrade 'just because'!
