What type of pcie slot do I have and what works with it

Solution
your PCIE slot is 1.0 doesnt really matter though bc PCIE is backwards compatible so any card will work in it....this means PCIE 3.0, 2.0 cards will work...are you looking for a suggestion for a video card? If so the pc will only fit low profile cards so your choices are limited

this would be as fast as you can get...but I am guessing this pc has a pentium 4 in it? if so I wouldnt sink any more money into it.....the p4 would bottleneck that gpu pretty hard

the pentium d is a lot better that makes it a harder decision...its up to you if you want to sink more money into the rig or save up and buy a new one..if you do buy the video card the link I posted is the best you are gonna get

I think I only have a 275 Watt Power Supply would that be much of an issue with this graphics card?

yea i would give it a shot. your cpu doesnt consume that much power and there really isnt anything else that is drawing alot of power. go for it. your only other option is buying a whole new pc not really worth throwing too much money into it
