What type of SATA port do I have?

So I have a Dell Lattitude E6520 and I want to know how fast the internal SATA is. I upgraded my hard drive to a SSD and I'm just curious if my SSD is being slowed down by the internal SATA. Does anyone know if I have SATA 1 (1.5GB/s), SATA 2 (3.0GB/s), or SATA 3 (6.0GB/s) in my laptop? And also my laptop also has an eSATA port and I'm wondering how fast that is too.

Your laptop is from SandyBridge generation. It most likely has sata2 interface.

Run benchmark on your sata SSD. You can use HDtune for that.
Sata2 will be ~250MB/s, Sata3 will be ~ 550MB/s.

Given the age, SATAII is certainly a possibility although IIRC, Dell implemented SATAIII for HDDs around the SandyBridge launch and left optical drives at SATAII.
