Hi TH fam, I am planning to build my 1st new system with the following specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 2060 Super
Motherboard yet to decide (but will go for b450 as x570 is too expensive)
Cooler Master MB520 cabinet
8gb x 2 ddr4 3000
Toshiba 1TB HDD
No SSD as of now. Will add 1 after some time (budget constraint lol)

I have just bought the cabinet and will buy the remaining items by the 1st week of April. Now the old zebronics 500w smps that I have, does not have long connectors. So I can't connect the 4 pins and 24pins connector to my motherboard because they fall short.
Hence I would really appreciate if you guys could recommend some good PSU with long connectors and also tell me if 500w would be enough for my build. Also any suggestions on the build or components are more than welcome.

Not sure how you're fitting a RTX2060 Super into your Rs 60,000 budget. Also, not really necessary when you've only got a 1080p 60Hz monitor.

To be honest, I think you're better off buying a SSD and keeping whatever archive files you can't fit on an external HDD or cloud storage until you can afford an internal HDD.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor (₹16500.00 @ Amazon India)
Motherboard: MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (₹7049.00 @ Amazon India)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (₹7899.00 @ Amazon India)
Storage: Crucial P1 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (₹5794.00 @ Amazon India)...
I would say a good 500/550W is more than enough. But going for 600/650 is always good as it adds some room for upgrades. Ditching that Zebronics PSU is a good idea regardless of whether it has the connectors or not. It would be nice to know your budget and where you live in order to recommend you a good one.

The B450 Tomahawk Max is 3rd Gen ready and a really good board.
Also keep in mind that you can get 3200Mhz often for the same price of a 3000Mhz, and a 3600Mhz for as little as 20$ more.

Hi julienruc and tennis2, thanks for replying. I am from India and my budget is around $800 (Rs 60000 approx)

Zebronics is a pretty well known peripheral brand in India and nearby regions. But it's not going to serve my purpose anymore. So I wish to replace it.

I already have a monitor: Dell SE2419H (1920 x 1080) so don't plan to buy a new monitor.

As of yet, I have just bought the cabinet for $80.

Julienruc, I can get 3600 but will it have any notable performance improvement? I saw a benmarking video on youtube that said that post 3200 the performance gain is not worth the extra amount spent. So should I go for it or not?

One thing to be mindful of is that there aren't many B450 boards that are GUARANTEED to ship with a Ryzen 3000 compatible BIOS pre-installed (or that you can flash without a CPU). Unless you have a way to use a Ryzen 1000 or 2000 CPU to flash the BIOS on any old B450 board, stick with either:
Those are the only options (that I'm aware of) that will guarantee you don't need to flash the mobo BIOS with a non-3000 series CPU.

I dont know man, the great part about PC's is that you can just upgrade whenever you want. Let the man get a 2060 Super if he wants it and get the SSD later on if he prefers. Although it's true that I'm not sure the budget will allow it. I also would admit that I would rather lean on getting a 240GB SSD and ditching the 1TB HDD as you can just add the HDD next month when you've saved up an extra 30$ and will need more space.

I would recommend the R5 3600 because it pairs extremely well with the 2060 Super. It's just a matchup that makes a lot of sense. Although it's true that in terms of price/performance the R5 2600 is currently the best choice.

Do you have Lazada/Shopee/AliExpress in India? I'm guessing Amazon is not the only place you can find components from?

I guess I'll have to add another 10000 to my budget. I have already bought the cabinet and still have 60000 to spend i.e., cabinet cost is exclusive of my budget. So I think I can get the entire build this month and if I wait for a month, I'll be able to add the SSD.

No Julienruc, I don't think we have shopee or lazada here in India. Amazon, Alibaba and Flipkart are the main options here.
And thanks for your suggestions guys, really appreciate a lot.
