Whats the best Amd fx Cpu

I'm looking to get the fx processors, but they have so many models I don't know which one to choose.
I will be doing some bf3 and skyrim, and basic web browsing and YouTube. I do not want to overclock and I'm not sure if I should choose the 4 core or six core.

I also would like to pair it with this motherboard GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5 AM3+ AMD 990FX. Is it good? im looking or a black and blue mobo.

FX8350 the FX9xxx series is overpriced and really are only OC FX8350. The Gigabyte UD5 is a good board.

The FX 6300 is really good too if you can't afford the 8350. Avoid any 41xx, 61xx, and 81xx series FX processor.

Why would you not want to overclock? You don't need a motherboard that good/expensive if you are never going to overclock.

I don't want to overclock because I don't want to damage my cpu, I chose that mobo because I was looking for a black and blue one. The others, like asus have and ugly brown color to it.

As long as it's properly cooled, overclocking will not harm your processor.

Unless you're trying to get like 6ghz or something.

Get an 8350, two more cores and a faster clock, no reason not to if it's in your budget.

The FX 6350 is just a factory overclocked 6300. Just get the 6300.

ok, so what is the best graphics card in the $150 range give or take a few bucks, I was thinking the sapphire 7770

Go with the 7870 if you can afford it, much better card than the 7870 (upgraded from the 7770 to the 7870, I'd know) for around $50 more.

$150 is WAY too much for a 7770. You can get 7850s as low as $109, 7870s for as low as $140

The 650ti boost performs better than a 7850 that hasn't been overclocked, but about the same as one that has. I suggest getting a 7870 and overclocking it yourself.
