Discussion What's your favourite video game you've been playing?

This is the most stupid game released this year. This is what happens when the lead dev for your studio leaves after your last good game and takes a bunch of other devs with him. You are left with the left overs.

  • AI is brain dead. Stands there and lets you shoot them, can't see you if you crouch and often misses if standing right in front of you
  • Game world is empty, can run around for minutes on end and see nothing.
  • You can only have one quest at a time and have to go back to same location everytime to get a new one.
  • Most of the quests are fetch quests.
  • it has tutorials that show you how to do the most basic things like how to shoot a gun... it treats audience like Idiots
  • skill tree is pointless
  • all 4 characters are annoying to play and their special moves are meh
  • in game map doesn't show anything of value, only exists to be a barrier as you need to clear to progress

Its graphics and performance suck too but that doesn't really matter if game is crap to play

Best fix for game is to be taken out back and shot.

I don't see why you play games like that then, are you a games tester?

I never liked the Idea of testing games, Rather always had a great inclination too which games on the pc are going to be great and have been adding them too my collection and replaying those endlessly.

Funny thing is that somebody once said to me because they heard that I enjoy games so much that I should be come a games tester and get paid for it.

Can't for the life of me think that that could be something similar to actually playing the good games back to back,

I know every body wants to sell their games, but in my opinion this is not the way to go about that!

Oh favorite game at the moment after completed cyberpunk 2077, GTA V PC story mode from 0 to hero, what a blast this game is every time!

Just recently purchased Far Cry 2 and Doom Eternal. Far Cry 2 brings back so many memories of my teenage years on consoles.

Doom Eternal is going to take some getting used to.

I been playing the beta of Pan'orama for the last week, waiting for the game to come out.
It was released today... 4 hours later I have already finished the game... I assumed it would take more time...

Prior to today my top score was 1300 something

I strolled past it as the Beta was missing features that make scoring large scores possible.

I made this map
8u7xEG8.jpg

it started as 1 tile. Its so big it doesn't fit into a zoomed out photo

shame game has an end. It should just keep giving you the tiles until you are ready to stop.

Its very similar to Dorf Romantic except I never got close to ending that game... This one could do with more challenge

Edit: They have since patched game and its back to being as hard as beta again. I suspect I had review copy sent to journalists for them to play and see more of game. Its just a theory. Also sent to Youtube influencers so they could play an easy version and not have to play the game heaps to see mroe of the special buildings. Sure does make you wonder how many reviews are showing the game as you get it.

It doesn't matter, I have all the unlocks now from the 1 easy game.

Just got Doom Eternal for the Switch (Lite), one of the best new shooters hands down.
I rarely play FPSs on a handheld (I have this game on a PS5 as well), but people say the port plays surprisingly well, so I'm pretty stoked to experience that thrill while on the move

I don't see how playing on a mobile device could be any fun, well for me in my opinion I certainly won't enjoy that, rather just enjoy my pc with a mouse and keyboard as input, and proper sound and display for best visualization and immersion into whatever game I play.

I know one can get immersed into something on mobile device as well, for me the only thing is watching movies on my mobile device and not gaming, save the gaming for the pc.

Anyway, current favorite I've been playing game: Watchdogs Legion. (back into London town we go) Just realized at the start when picking your starting protagonists that the last one you select is the first one you get to play with, and in turn is sort of the head of your dedsec team, never noticed that before, so in essence if you like a certain skill set you could have that right away with your very first character, I chose one that had an smg as a main weapon, and this way it got me right into the combat action...(classic without permadeath) last time I made it to the conclusion in 23h.48m, going to see how I do this time around.

Those were my exact thoughts up until I borrowed my friend's PS Vita and had a blast playing Killzone, Uncharted, GoW, etc. Handheld gaming is not on par with the regular consoles/PCs, don't get me wrong, but it's proved to be far more enjoyable than I expected. I got a Switch Lite for myself since I know I'll play on the PS5 on the TV, and I wanted to try the Nintendo Online subscription and all the classic titles it comprises (this was actually the first time I played Ocarina of Time, Super Metroid, SM64, Banjo Kazooie...).

So, while your argument is 100% valid, I can vouch for the high fun factor of handheld gaming due to personal experience

currently playing Star Rail. Installed it today.
turn based rpg game, but still plenty of fun. :)

surprised by the game's futuristic theme. I was fighting dual-sword wielding aliens attacking a space station right at the start. lol

btw, the full game is completely free to download in the official site. The download size is approx 12 gb. The game has servers in Europe, Asia, and USA. Anyway, not sure about forum rules on posting links to official sites, so I won't be posting a link. Don't want to get in trouble with mods. hehe

Just, made a completion of GTA V PC Story mode again, epic it was as always, then I played some online mode heists, there was this triple rewards thing going on again and I landed more than a few solo union depository 810K's... Now however my favorite game is Cyberpunk 2077 again, but this time I'm playing as an Nomad as opposed to my fav Corpo.

This just great gameplay, I love it.

now playing Star Rail. :)

thought of sharing my fight with the first boss. The Doomsday Beast.
since it's the first boss, people would think it's easy? Well, easy only if you've built up levels first, exploring the embattled Herta Space Station. In this video, I fought the boss without doing much levelling. Just went straight for it. So it's sort of a challenge.

team members: March 7, Dan Heng, Stelle, and Himeko.

March 7's shielding ability is the key to surviving this fight. Be sure to put a shield on anyone that has low health. Scariest attack of this boss are the lasers from the wings and head, I thought someone was gonna get ko'd. lol

I haven't played a computer game in a very long time. Probably the last time was about 15 years ago. I think it was Wolfenstein. I guess I'm too old(

Hopefully not to old to play ever, just find something that interest you, I know many games can be daunting, those are probably not meant for just anyone, but the world has games of all types and if you ever loved gaming you might just find your game again.

I don't have a favorite game at the moment, But I had been busy playing: Splinter cell blacklist again, and after that I played Shadow of the tomb raider again just to get in that amazing action with the solar eclipse scene at the end of it.

Also I got my hands on a copy of AC: Valhalla, trying to figure out if there is anything in there that I'd like to pursue, seems like quite a huge game, and some memorable characters voice make a reappearance.

I'm not too old, I just don't have free time to do it, especially after the birth of my daughter)

If you see a TT bottom right corner of your screen DON'T TOUCH IT! lol. Movie was pretty good. Reminds you computers is the worst thing ever made.

Hahah... yeah it's one of my favorite movies from Sandra Bullock. The whole floppy disk thing at the end was just epic. 🤣 🤣
