You owe it to yourself if you enjoyed 4 even a teeny tiny bit to play NV. It's everything great about the franchise distilled to one game. Ironically, also the one in the series not made by Bethesda. No, I missed that one. I have it in my Steam library though. Maybe on PSN too. I'd have to check. I've heard nothing but good things about it.
Ghosts of Tsushims was technically and visually a treat though (and I'll never complain for a game having content), 100% it was fatiguing with not not enough variety but nevertheless recommended.
I've given up on Starfield. What made it playable were the mods and when mods stop getting updated on Nexus Mods, it pretty much means it's abandon by the community. Many are outdated and break the game.did actually get into Elden Ring again with the latest expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, with a fresh character and once again around half-way through the game i'm just getting bored with the gameplay.
think i just get tired of the grinding combat.
started playing Marvel's Spider Man Remastered again and the game is still pretty cool.
another one that just seems to get boring though after button mashing for a few hours.
i would like to keep it around and just play every so often, but the flow of the game is something that seems to take some getting used to so each time i go back it takes some time again to get into smooth gameplay.
a new Starfield expansion is supposed to be coming in September and am really looking forward to getting into it again.
also looking forward to playing Fallout: London. just giving it a few months to work out all of the problems i keep reading about and update the mod some more.
and waiting for the new Star Wars: Outlaws to be out for a bit and see how it goes with updates, etc. hoping to see it plays as good as it looks and get into that sometime.
I played way out of order. Got to Iki early, Ronin beat the hell out of me and thank F multiple save slots, I was pissed. I thought long journey meant the quest was long not that I'd be stuck there, especially without the right gear. But yeah , very long but overall I enjoyed it and have been waiting for a PC port since I saw it. I like that it wasn't just Dynasty Warriors smack around enemies but probably if one were to clarify it as such, the most Souls-LITE that exists. Smooth and responsive combat, doging and parrying with rewards for good stealth, kills and parrys.I will totally agree this is a complaint I had too. My first playthrough was over 75 hours (including Iki). On one hand for a single player game thats incredible, but the non-Iki islands have a lot of similar content by the end. But its such a minor complaint.
Oh wow! I never realized that NV wasn't developed by Bethesda! And I have hundreds and hundreds (maybe even thousands) of hours logged on FO4. I even have NV on my steam account. I just got a PS5 and if my PC can't handle NV I'll just get it for PSN.You owe it to yourself if you enjoyed 4 even a teeny tiny bit to play NV. Damn right! Lol... I'm about to start NV for the very first time after playing 4 for years! Hahaha, I'm a bit behind.I saw that too, but theres never a bad time to talk about Fallout.
i know there was a complete overhaul mod titled "Fallout 4: New Vegas" in production quite a few years ago.I'm about to start NV for the very first time
I think a potato would play NV on lower textures to be honest. I looked up your iGPU and its similar to an Intel Arc 380, so you'll be totally fine.Oh wow! Do you think a mini PC based on a 6900hx with 680m iGPU could handle that game at a decent level of quality?
Either way, I have been wanting to try it out. I love the entire FO universe and lore. It would be nice to finally understand what the deal with the Enclave is. They got some pretty nice uniforms in 4. But I know nothing about them except there's a DLC sized mod on 4 that has some cool loot and stuff.
Right on, thanks for the info! I'm about to see if 3 and NV are in PS Plus. That would make it easy for me to get back into it. If not, I do have them both in my Steam Library. Just need to DL them. I'm DL'ing CP2077 right now to my PS5. So when it's done I can get in my PC and DL those two.I played Fallout 3 on a 3570K with NO GPU. It lagged a bit in the final battle but it was playable.
NV is not much more demanding than 3, so...
I think you're good.
Also, yeah Fallout 3 is good. I didn't like that there were many unfinished side quests, and a few of the off the beaten track map locations didn't really reward exploration, but a lot of the game was damned cool.
Anyone who is a fan of Fallout 1 and 2 should check out UnderRail on Steam. It's a hard and quirky game but it has a cool optional leveling system that completely avoids grinding. Instead of grinding skills and kills for XP, you gain it by exploring and finding rare items.
That is cool because if you have a gang of mooks in the way, you don't have to fight them and loot their meagre possesions. If you bypass them, you're not leaving any XP on the table because they wouldn't give you any.
funny, i just reinstalled Borderlands 3 recently after a quite a few years.Favorite games lately...Borderlands 3, Starwars Outlaws
Very buggy, lot of cut corners.
You mean, by the books?it just felt robotic.
