Yeah the Enhanced Edition not only has some nice new game features, they really cleaned up the optimization. Performance just un-tweaked is actually better now than when I was using several performance edits to remove aberration and other features prior to the polishing they did.

It's even better if you turn off their crappy in game VSync, which actually causes screen tear. I have none now that I turned it off, and frame rates are higher and smoother. Plus it looks like they severely toned down or removed some of the features people were editing out, like chromatic aberration.

I found out the hard way though that it's not a good idea to jump right into The Following without having first leveled up a bit. I had assumed it was a mini game of it's own, that you can start from scratch, but it's a scenario where you find a way out of Haran after battling there, and there are some nasty things to go up against right off the bat. You CAN however start it right after finishing the DL prologue, but they warn that it's best to be at least rank 12 in the Survivor skill tree first.

That said, I'm about Survivor rank 6 now, and have a 9mm pistol, 8 Molotovs, and a 65 damage Lacertor modded plank, so I may try it again. It looks like the first camp you're sent to has some good gear to loot if you can kill all the enemies there.

Just finished The Witcher 3 and the Hearts of Stone expansion. I'm blown away by how good it was. Truly one of the best games I've ever played. It took 165 hours! Hell I've got 156 hours in Fallout 4 and with the new DLCs coming out soon that will soon increase. And The Witcher 3 has another expansion coming soon that's supposed to be huge. Guess I'll play Rise of the Tomb Raider while I wait on DLC. It's such a good time to be a PC gamer. 😛

I practically play Cities: Skylines everyday on my PC and its pretty awesome.I am also playing Hitman Absolution and I really love games where you have alot of freedom and you can choose your own way to assasinate, not like AC.

I am looking forward to Ghost Recon Wildlands. The trailer is pretty sick. I have a fear that ubisoft will downgrade the graphics but as it is a ghost recon game it gives me hope.

I also play the PS3 and I am currently playng TLOU and it's pretty darn amazing.

seemed like for many years i was playing the same games over again every 6-12 months because there wasn't much new coming along. now the PC catalog of great games has grown and keeps growing faster and faster all the time. i can't even find the time to get through 1/2 of the games i want to. is a great time.

and i think most ps4 games i've seen are actually blurrier than the image posted. seems an odd way to deal with aliasing; to just totally blur out the entire screen.

had been playing XCOM 2 the passed couple weeks and loving it. but just got Grim Dawn and can't put it down, is a great game. had to set my alarm to make myself quit so i could get some sleep before work the last two nights. reminds me so much of Titan Quest.
anyone that enjoys hack n' slash, isometrics, or RPGs in general should definitely give it a try.
and if you do enjoy it, should give Titan Quest with it's Immortal Throne expansion a good run.

I'm about 15 hours into Rise of the Tomb Raider. Might be the best looking game I've ever played and after 160+ hours in The Witcher 3 that's saying something. If you liked the first game you will love this one. They took all the good parts and made them better.

I'll get around to X-Com 2 but I've got a huge backlog right now. Loved the first one.

I bought Titan Quest in a sale or bundle some time ago and haven't ever got around to playing it. It's one of those in the to do list.

I have to play Dying Light soon. I started a few times but lost interest after an hour in or so, each time. And it's DLC looks cool, so yeah, I'm going to have to start again and hopefully play all the way.

I've been playing a lot of indie titles lately. 'Superhot' is the latest one out. It's unlike any other first person shooter I've played. The concept is a breath of fresh air to the FPS genre and I'm liking it so far.

If you don't mind less gameplay, then games by Telltale are good. They're rich in story and will keep you engaged. My favourites of theirs include The Walking Dead series, The Wolf Among Us, Tales From The Borderlands, Sam and Max...etc.

There are so many good games.........As GMan450 said the Telltale games are very story driven. Story is much more of a focus than actual gameplay but they are still quite fun.

A few more to check out.
Alan Wake
Bioshock ( all 3 but start with the first one )
Dead Space ( all 3 but start with the first one- warning creepy space horror game but a good story)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution ( amazing game! one of my all time favorites )
Dishonored
Half Life 2
Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 ( probably my favorite games of all time. The story is HUGE )
Remember Me ( fighting reminds me of the Batman games but I liked this one and I don't care for the those much)
Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider
Life is Strange
The Witcher 3 ( very much an adult targeted game but AMAZING, and huge, I've played 165+ hours and the last DLC isn't out yet )

I have old laptop, dell vostro 3750, some newer games, I can't play. Graphics runs on low/mid settings, in other games it runs on high.

But I think I can find something what to play with this laptop from 2000' and now :) Thanks for answers, I will try something if my laptop handle it ;D

@ Blitz Blitz,
try these older and less demanding titles:

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Knights of The Old Republic, Neverwinter Nights, Diablo II, Baldur's Gate I & II, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, Ori & The Blind Forest, Titan Souls, Two Worlds, The Witcher, Halo: Combat Evolved, Rainbow Six: Raven Shield

if you have any certain games running okay now let us know. it'll help narrow down what you should be able to play.

So . . . A month, that's how hard that fight is.
In my defense, I was sick for a good week-and-a-half, I had a holiday and I upgraded to win10. So I didn't get around to playing this (Not a fever-dream kinda game) game that much. But I still have 7 hours of footage with looooooooots of "You have died" messages.
And no footage from the kill because in setting up OBS again I forgot to click the "save recording on local disc" option . . . .
Now to fill the lordvessel with souls.

I finished Black Ops II a few days back. It's a fun shooter, no doubt, and I liked that there were multiple endings based on the choices you made. Unfortunately, I got the bad ending, even though I believed I made the right choices. I don't feel like replaying the game for a better ending as of now, but I might some other time. I had a great time with it overall.

Haven't played though The Witness for some time. I'll delve back in after I play some more of Superhot.

Recently I got my hands on games I missed back then.
The Devil Inside, and Nocturne. Great, and climatic games, though controls are little clunky.

I'm not sure. I haven't seen an official release date yet. Hopefully some Fallout 4 DLC and the last Witcher 3 DLC will be out soon. I finished Rise of the Tomb Raider. It took a very respectable 32 hours and I could probably put in another hour or 2 finding more stuff. I played the first game twice and it's sitting at 31 hours for comparison.

Trying out a few games I've had from Humble Bundles and sales that I hadn't got around too yet. A real gem so far is The Stanley Parable. It's exceedingly short but it had me in tears I was laughing so hard at points.

hopefully this isn't a misprint. i'm getting an urge to get back to it. still deciding if it warrants another playthrough yet:

it claims there is a new robot threat and as you progress through the mission(s) you will find robot parts to build your own custom Automatron follower.

Yeah I saw the stated March release and I believe April and May also have new DLC coming for it as well. I just haven't heard exact dates. I migrated my 155 hour save over when I upgraded the computer last week but I might just start a new game and use the console to give myself unlimited building materials so I can go all OCD with the settlements.

Edit; Found it.

http://www.gottabemobile.com/2016/02/29/fallout-4-dlc-5-things-to-know-right-now/

"Bethesda will release its second add-on, the Fallout 4 Wasteland Workshop in April. The second add-on will be followed by Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC in May. The company did not outline specific release dates for the trio of add-ons and those announcements will come at a later date."

Isn't Automatron just the thing where you get to build your own Robot companion? It doesn't actually add any story quests does it?

From what I've read, Far Harbor is the only one that really adds quests, and it won't be out until May. It's the one I'm waiting for.

My first DX 12 testing has left me underwhelmed.

Got some Rise of the Tomb Raider DX 11 and DX 12 benchmarks.

DX 11. All settings maxed at 1440p and using HBAO.

DX 11 same as above settings except with the new Maxwell only VXAO replacing HBAO. Visual quality is noticeable improved.

DX 12 with the same image settings except back to HBAO since the new VXAO isn't available with DX 12 for some reason.

I thought DX 12 was supposed to help? I'm not impressed. Maybe a lower end system would benefit more? That's all tested with the also new in game benchmark tool. I can't say how that will translate to actual gameplay.
