When will AMD Ryzen 5000 series prices return to MSRP, like the AMD Ryzen 5 5600x for $299, or will they stay at $399 or continue to rise? I'd just like to know if I should continue to wait for them to drop or just pull the trigger and buy one?

Guesses is all anyone can give you.

Look around for stock drops. I found a 5600x in stock the other day for a bit before going out of stock. Didn't buy it for lack of need.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping to find it close to $299 though. I'm trying to find out if that's just wishful thinking or not. If it's not gonna drop, then I might as well buy it for $399.... sigh.
