Question Whenever I do anything on my pc it spams a letter by itself even if the keyboard is unplugged

When I turned on my computer and went to go type something my computer randomly started spamming the letter k over and over again. I thought it was an issue with the keyboard and sent a letter to the tech support of the company that makes the keyboard. They said I would have to get the keyboard replaced so I decided to plug in an old keyboard and it was doing the same thing constantly spamming the letter k. I tried factory resetting the keyboard and updating it's drivers but that hasn't seemed to fix the issue. I have also tried restarting my pc, switching the usb ports everything. Need all the help I can get so I don't lose my sanity. All help will be appreciated thanks!

Try running a malware scan with Malwarebytes , and if you have mouse that has customisable keys that can also be the device that is causing the problem.

welp I feel like an idiot. One of my g502 modes has k as the down shift button and I just hold it down by habit but on a mode where it has no effect I went and checked what mode it was on and it was on the mode with k as dpi shift. Thanks soooo much I appreciate the help
