I want to download some files from an older HDD that I've used in the past with my desktop PC.
I've bought an adapter and have connected it to the Drive and to the PC using a USB cable to a
free USB port. I think I've found this USB connection but for some reason I'm not able to view
any files that are stored on the HDD that is connected this way.
I have changed the Drive at least three times to find if I made a mistake connecting it. But the
results are always the same; no files are visible.
Mind you, the files were saved as FAT 16 and FAT 32 using WinXP.
Could the problem be with the jumper not being set correctly?
