I sent an EVGA 780 back because it was faulty; the shop accidentally credited me rather than send me a new one. Unfortunately I bought the card on sale, and the shop does not wanna pay the difference there now is (since its no longer on sale).
So, im looking for an alternative.
The ones I've looked at are the ones from MSI, Asus and Zotac.
Zotac:
Never had experience with them, dont hear them mentioned alot. Has the best out-of-the-box performance (high OC).
Asus:
Super reliable brand, but extremely low MHz even on the OC version (941 Boost Clock)
MSI:
Never had MSI products, has a solid factory OC (slightly over 1000MHz).
I like factory OC'd products, as I've never overclocked a GPU before it saves me the trouble. The Zotac has a very high overclock, but like said I've never tried a Zotac product. I would go with the Asus if it wasnt for the low overclock... But does it really make a big difference in the end, or can I just OC the Asus myself easily?
I love a quiet product, but I have no idea which cooler is the quietest of Asus and MSI (I know Zotac is the loudest).
Any suggestions?
