Currently I have a coolermaster centurion 5. I am buying a new case. I am deciding on the Antec 900, CoolerMaster Stacker 830 Evolution and the Stacker 832. If I got a stacker, I would get all the fans. Which Case should I get?

Oh, and which case fans are best for the stacker

The best case is... well haven't you see the cooler review?

Just mount the MB to some wood. That way you can test more the 80 HS.

😳. o O (Oh.. nm)

There all actually good cases.

HAHA your a funny man Grimmy...

I usually like just resting the mainboard on the static bag it came with, great air flow

I personally enjoy building mine inside a block of styrofoam sitting on the carpet.

The question at hand is a curious one. Everyone has their own favorite, which doesn't necessarily imply what's best. I have an Antec 900 housing one of my computers and the thing that gripes me about it is that it only has 3 external drive bays. The Coolermaster 830, on the other hand, has 9 external drive bays. Now my preference is having 4 external bays, though 5 would aslo be fine. So the Antec comes up 1 bay short. Its a good case and all that, but its a bit crowded.

But as for the wood, static bags and styrafoam, what ever happened to the plain cardboard box? Easy customization, needing just a good knife, takes any color paint you want, even wallpaper, and the cat can use it to have her kittens in when you decide to upgrade to a bigger box.

Don't forget to rub the styrofoam around on the carpet in a circular motion while you build.

exactly,

I like the 900 b/c of all the cooling, that it coems with stock, despite not having 3 pin power connections, plus the 200 mm fan on the top is simply genius as it vents alot of air.

really great case, If I didn't need something more portable, I'd stick with it.

My friend did his Computer Science degree on a cardboard box PC.

If you've got any Lego kicking around, that could also be a good, customisable, lightweight solution, although I think getting the motherboard tray to stay may cause a problem...

Might I be as bold as to suggest a different case? 😉
I was in the same dilemma about 2 months ago and bought a CM-690.
I did look at the Stacker and 900 are a fair amount more money over here (UK) than it and I didn't really feel they offered much more.
It has plenty of drive bays (5 for HD's and 5 external 5.25"), cooling is great as well.
Just a slightly different suggestion!

Yeah I think a pine plank works best. It will fill your room with the smell of the Canadian forests.

HA, a lego PC case...

Heh.. nice lego pic.

Wonder how many cats would be curious about the front fan.

and then the user finds umm fur all over the video card and parts.
