Which CPUs in Xeon x56XX or W36XX will overclock the highest ?

The X56xx are used for BCLK overclocking on unlocked aftermarket MB. Some of the W36xx are unlocked multiplier and overclocking is simpler and is even possible on locked OEM motherboards. Results usually have more to do with the MB ability than the CPU chosen. The higher speed DDR3 RAM available makes mid range X56xx popular for BCLK overclocking.
No, I know X56xx and W36XX Xeons can be overclocked on x58 and they can be overclocked by multiplier, some of them have limits on their multipliers but I want to know which ones have the highest multiplier limit and which ones can overclock the highest
They all run the same 133 BCLK. So the ones with the highest rated speed have the highest multiplier. W3690, X5690, and X5687 4 core.
None of these are very popular with serious X58 overclockers. X5675 seems to have a following. It's a 95W CPU and the others are 130W.
You could go to HWBOT and see what runs fastest there.
