My Setup:

i7 3820
EVGA gtx 1080 FTW 2
16 GB ram


I'm in the market for a good priced 1080p 144hz monitor that supports gsync compatibility. I've narrowed my search down to these two monitors, but can't decide o which to go for. I've never owned a acer before so I'm not sure if I should play it safe and pay $100 more for the asus.

Also, I have zero interest in 1440p. I plan on doing a complete build/monitor overhaul in 3-4 years from now so 1080p with high refresh rate is all I'm currently interested in.

To be honest, you're also paying for .5 of an inch in terms of diagonal desktop real estate. I'd pick the Asus up and actually have it retained as a secondary monitor if you want to expand on the displays.

After doing some more browsing I found this guy:

It's pretty much the 24inch equivalent of the asus in my original post. I'm most likely going to purchase this one.
