I'm building a pc for 3d modeling and gaming and I don't know which motherboard should I pair it up with, I have a 1800 budget and I was thinking about a gigabyte aorus x570 elite and a asus tuf x570 plus but I found a forum that said that the asus MOBO had this issue with the gpu sitting on top of the chipset fan and I don't know if that can be a problem because I know the vrm on both are really good and since I don't plan on doing cpu overclocking I would choose the asus one but that issue makes me skeptical

-thanks for reading and for all the great responses in advance

Yes, a gpu can sit over the chipset fan area depending on size.

A 2070 Super on an x570 Asus TUF wifi. I have no thermal issues with this pc at all. Rock solid stability.

It’s a solid pc. AMD deserves all the credit they have received over the last few months.

It’s extremely fast and has been absolutely issue free so far. Gaming with it is a great experience.

Can’t wait to see the next round of gpu’s from them too!
