So my recommend calculated PSU wattage is 510W
I came down to these 2 products in my price range which should I choose?

Seasonic ECO PLUS 600, Eco series, 600watts, PSU, 80 Bronze = 51.66 USD
or
Seasonic S12II, 520watts PSU, 80 bronze = 59.39 USD

Thanks, why is the other one more expensive but lower wattage?
Confused..

Higher wattage doesn't mean better psu. The 600w says it clearly, ECO. As in light duty, not for gaming use. The S12-II is a workhorse, been around for years, but it's still a basic model, no frills, average outputs. There's most definitely better, but it's not bad.

The i7-2600 does not require Intel low power state compatibility (Haswell and newer) so the fact that the S12II is group regulated is not a problem for that system.

It also has enough capacity for the GTX 1070, even if it offers only a little headroom. Any of the S12II or S12G Seasonic units of 500w or higher would be good choices given the expensive nature and limited selection on that page. The ECO models should only be considered as a last resort if you can't get a better model. They are still better than the majority of cheap power supplies out there but if you go with an ECO model you want to get one that is about 200w or more higher than what you actually need.
