I will build a pc [for gaming] with the following specs:
Intel Core i7 6700 3.4GHz
ASUS NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 8GB
16GB DDR4 RAM
Which OS should i select?
Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows 8.1 Pro
Or Windows 10 Pro
Windows 7 was the best there ever was. But i wont get any future games to work on my pc. It also is going to lose support after 2018 ......as my pc is a Skylake.
I currently use Windows 8.1 and almost all of my games work on 8.1 without any problem......some started working without compatibility mode.....8.1 is great for me.
I have used 10 and it sucked, nothing worked. So i am hesitating to go with it because i cant play any of my favourite games. But 10 is in my list because future games will support 10 only and i have an advanced os with me again. But its got errors a lot.
But i cant say becausr i ran 10 on Intel Core i3 4150,Intel HD Graphics 4400 and 4gb Ram.......Windows 8.1 too wasnt great with this spec but after reinstalling 8.1 with a gpu and more ram made it great.
What should i do?

Please help i am really confused....i am vacillating a lot so want to put an end to it........first stuck with 7......
I thought leave support i will stay with 7......i want my old games ......but thought .......after support its vulnerable to hacks and no new games for Windows 7.......mmm
Jumped to 8.1......thought about my present conditions but thought the same thing is going to happen with 8.1......so searched sites....and somehow changed my thought and jumped to 10 .....dx12....future support......satisfied temporarily.....but thought i cant play any of my old games......running
DX 6.1,9,10 & 11.
7 and 8.1 make up past and 10 makes up the future........but what is best for me.....
Well does Windows 10 work with old games?
