Question Which portable HDD should I get that I can use daily for almost a year ?

I have sold my old PC recently, but for now I am able to use my sister's old Macbook while I save up for a new PC. So, as usual, trash storage.

Hence, I was wondering if there exists a portable HDD that I can crank daily for my use and maybe fit it in my new PC later (I know, too much to ask).

Also, I still don't really know if portable storage can be used as internal storage in computers or not ?

omg, that's a lifesaver. I just found out about these enclosures. Just looked around amazon and found that Sata 2.5 inch enclosures also exist. I'm gonna get one of those.
