Solution
I found a 500-watt Corsair PSU and a 650-watt Thermaltake PSU and I thought that I should buy the 650 one but everyone on Tom's hardware said that I should buy the 500 one, why?
Isn't wattage the most important thing in a PSU?

No, even the brand can have good and bad ones. a "500w" Corsair doesn't tell me enough.

Quite frankly all of those PSU are recycling center material.

If your budget is really really tight, take an extra shift or two at work,
skip all the high flight brands and buy a NEW non modular PSU from a company like FSP Group or CWT
which will set you back around 50 dollars for 650W brick with good quality components and adequate construction.
It won't have all those pretty logos and fancy modular cables but at the end of the day FSP and CWT are ODMs that
manufacture a good chunk of what you see sold under all those sound brands featured on Tom's hardware ;)

You know @TH4WARRIORz you keep coming back to the forum with the very same question (*) several times and expecting to get different answer then last time. You won't. It's just not possible.

* The question being "Can I power my PC with a brick?" Sure you can - if you somehow make the brick generate power. Just don't come back crying when the brick make your rig explode.

I'd rather power a PC with a brick than that linked PSU. The brick won't do anything, after all, leaving my computer un-destroyed.
