Which psu would work for this setup ?

Any advice appreciated.I am trying to decide which PSU to get. I want one thats quite quiet . I am not bothered about getting a super powerful one to allow for future upgrades- I have a limited budget and just want enough to manage this sytem now without blowing it up or not having enough power - I am not bothered about the getting the "best" or bragging rights - just something that will get the job done.
I have considered this but have been told it better to get a branded psu :

ACE 750W

I am making a desktop for proffesional audio applications. My setup is as follows :

Processor: Intel Core i7 - 3.4 GHz 2600k
HD : 1tb 7200 rpm
Motherboard : Gigabyte socket 1155 ATX PA65-UD3-B3 motherboard
Soundcard : RME RAYDAT (important a audio related dektop and will be playing 32 channels of ADAT outputs simultaneously)
Graphics : not sure yet but something cheap not really bothered about games or anything - perhaps a 1gb card with two monitor outputs.
Case/chassis : rackmount eye4800

The one you've mentioned is a crappy useless Psu .....You should get a Corsair CX 500 or a XFX 450w Pro or an Antec Eartwatt Psu ...The Watts is not important for Psu's But the Brand

I suspected - but there is omething to with tiered PSUs no ? Like I could get a tier 1 - tier 4 psu but a tier 5 is not recomended - could you recomend any tier 4 psu ?

Imran is right. A 750 watt PSU for the equivalent of about $30 - even off eBay - is junk.

I would recommend no less than a Tier 3 PSU.

Which 600 watt OCZ PSU? OCZ has several models. They range from pretty good to pretty bad, so the model that you select is critical.

Like anything else, it's buyer beware when you buy used. The PSU is the heart of a PC. IMO it's worth a few extra dollars for a new, known good PSU. If you're not gaming, then skip the discrete GPU and use integrated graphics. Sink the extra money into a really good PSU and maybe extra RAM or an SSD. You'll get more performance/$ going that direction. With integrate graphics you could go with an Antec Earthwatts EA-380D for around $45. The OCZ ModXstream 500W is actually cheaper after rebate and it's definitely more than enough for your needs.

That Antec you listed is deceptively labeled all over the place. I wouldn't trust the vendor.

The XFX is more than sufficient for your rig with integrated graphics or even a discrete GPU up to an HD6850.

One last quetion Rugger - the Soundcard is a pcie card and I guess most graphics cards are too ? Will this be able to support to PCie cards ?

That card is a PCIe X1 card; it won't draw a significant amount of power and will receive all of its power via the mobo. The max power that a PCIe x1 slot can provide is 25W. Graphics cards use PCIe x16 slots.

As long as your motherboard:
1. Has sufficient PCIe slots
2. Those slots are configured to that the GPU doesn't interfere with installing a card in the PCIe x1 slot. Most modern graphics cards take up two slots due to their coolers. Bad day if your mobo only has one PCIe x1 slot and it is covered up by the GPU....
3. You don't go overboard on the GPU; limit the GPU to no higher than an HD6850.
The XFX is a great little PSU and if you follow those guidelines, then you'll be good.
