[SOLVED] Which RAM should I buy?

There are two sets of RAM that I am looking at. Same Transfer Rate but different Cas. Both same price technically but the slower one is on sale for $10 with a promo code. Should I get the one on sale which is technically slower or just buy the faster one for $10 more. I am pretty sure the difference will be negligible but wanted to make sure. I am still $100 under my budget for my upgrades so I do not mind the extra $10 but I will take a sale if I can. Also keep in mind I will be buying two sets so it will be a $20 difference overall. Thank you!

The difference is negligible. The true latency between the CL 15 and CL 16 is only 2/3 of a nanosecond.
the CL 15 has a 10ns latency
the CL16 has a 10.67ns latency

You can measure true latency by:
(CL # / rated clock speed) x 2000 = True latency

A difference you'll not even notice on daily usage. if it was cl l15 vs cl 19 then there would be a difference where 10$ less is not worth it. But if you were comparing a 3200MHz cl 16 vs a 3000MHz cl15, then the cl 16 would be a better option. but since they're both 3000 it should be fine to get the cheaper option.
