Who Is DDoS Attacking MMORPGs?

Fact the USA is the most common target of DDos attacks the vast majority of the attacks originate from China.
Fact USA utilities are under constant attack from China, US power grid computer systems had malware installed tracked to China.

SOE's Planetside 2 has been ddos'd this year... supposedly had something to do with Planetside 1, or some other nonsense. The DDOS effect spread throughout SOE's entire line up, and I experienced it first hand while playing Everquest.

IIRC, its Dragonbrand. AFAIK, all the NA servers are in Texas.

The problem is that DDOS attacks are nearly impossible to prevent. There needs to be something done through an ISP to prevent this kind of stuff.
