TOM!! or minions, stop letting the new boy type your articles. I have noticed in the last week an ever increasing number of typos all over the place. Additionally the grammar is getting poor too.

Specific example:

The email, which the company looks like an authentic email from Microsoft, takes the user to “one of may websites”

I mean c'mon. This writer obviously doesn't pwn the english language.

B.T.W. I also would like to comment on your increasingly commercial biases that are transparent to most tech savvy folk that actually recommend this site. I used to recommend this site, not so much anymore. I'll pass people over to "The Reg" nowadays, even though they aren't as thorough or innovative in their tests.

I mean Vista usage for home and work. This makes it obvious that you guys are getting more money that you can afford to throw it in the F**king bin.

Not microsofts problem when bugs are exposed!! Blaming the latest and greatest hardware that functions perfectly on XP!??

Using a DELL to benchmark DX10. Why have your team gone SOOO FRUITY.

About grammar/ typographical errors, you are correct. Tom's Hardware has a major testing lab in Germany. Although they don't "pwn" the english language, they do a great number of tests, many of which are available on the charts. If you point out specific errors to the editorial staff, they will make corrections though.

I'm also not sure which articles you're refering to in the other parts of this.

As far as the Dell XPS tests for DX 10, the dell in question is this one.

That system is a Core 2 Extreme QX 6800, 2.93/3.73 with a raid 0, a liquid cooling unit, and 2 nVida 8800 Ultras.

I'm not a testing expert, but I think that's adequately hardcore for the day.

I am curious. What kind of articles that we do that you want to see more of?

I LOVED!!! the old 5 GHz overclock during the athlon/p4 days.

I enjoyed when THG used to slate a bad component or system when it was deserving, nowadays the have become clement. Afraid to say it how it is.

The toughbook challenge was wimpy, I thought they might actually increase the tests to the point where the laptop was destroyed, BUT NOOOOO. shitty 30cm drop onto wood on grass. No chance. My shitty satellite pro could've walked away from their "TESTS".

I still like there rigourous testing but they tend to scew the results in favour of the highest bidders. As I said it is transparent to the tech savvy but not for those that may still be learning. I still enjoy reading the articles because I can spot the incongruities but others I feel may be mislead.

My comments about vista and the latest and greatest H/W are from the one article "WD Raptor and G80 Vista Problems,WD's Raptor And Nvidia G80 Don't Play Nice With Vista"

Firstly vista is not an upgrade, it may be pretty but it simply doesn't do the job properly. See your dx10 article, and the numerous complaints about moving, copying and deleting files being impossible on some configs.

Please just admit that the reviewer was more than slightly reluctant to point the blame where it belongs. If the same system is not broken using a mature winXP then it MUST be the newer OS. Don't you dare criticise the H/W producers all of whom produce higher quality products than any of microsoft's new releases.

And that dell is a system that will be used by a minority of people that don't know anything about computers and as such will not read the article. Focus on your readers, not on your profits.

I know for myself at least I have been a regular reader of THG for years, and I know that whatever they are paying now, it isn't enough to cover the costs involved in losing your fanbase in the long run.
