Why cant i run sims 2 from my mac os x

i have the normal sims 2 , can i run it on my mac or not????? it has no auto play and says cannot run in DOS mode?????

You need a MAC version of the game.

you can not run windows programs in a Mac OS just like you cannot run Mac programs in a windows OS.

You can install windows on you Mac however since they started using PC hardware. You will need a legal copy of windows. You can then do a bootcamp install that lets you choose windows or Mac when you start the computer, or you can.install windows in a virtual box inside OSx.
