why do i need to CLEAR CMOS?

Hi,
I know that clearing CMOS is very important after some errors or wrong Overclocking, what othe reasons do I need to clear CMOS?

I am writing an article for my site visitors.

If you did something else in your BIOS besides overclocking and it won't boot.
Sometimes after exchanging components which won't work.

You need to clear the CMOS because sometimes you can't get to the BIOS to change the values manually to the default settings
