Ever since I got my ethernet cord ran to my room, I have been constantly disconnecting from online games (and its all, not just one) but I will not disconnect from anything else (like a discord call) it is literally just the game that disconnects nothing more. I have tried reinstalling all of my drivers, including the Realtek Gigabit LAN driver, and it still does the same thing.
My PC:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
Gigabyte B550M DS3H
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3Gb (I plan to upgrade to a Rtx 3070)
16 GB 3200 Mhz CL 16 Memory
500 GB Sata SSD and a 2 TB Hard Drive
600 Watt Power supply (80+ Gold)
The only things I would have to check is 1 my network switch, but other devices connected to it do not do that, and I also tried plugging in the ethernet directly to my pc instead of the splitter, still same thing.
The only other thing I could think of is the port on my motherboard has went bad, but I just bought that motherboard and CPU this past Christmas.
I am so lost at this point. Any help would mean a lot. Thanks in advance!
