Why Do You Nee More VRAM For More Monitors?

if it is for gaming purpose like nvidia surround or amd eyefinity then the answer is yes. because with such setup the game will span across 3 monitors and those extra monitors do add more pixel to be rendered in real time by the gpu. in simple terms: more pixel more VRAM needed for rendering purpose
