I've got an AOC 24G4XE monitor some days ago to pair it with a budget Ryzen 5600G with integrated graphics. The monitor doesn't have freesync but has adaptive sync and still works exactly how a freesync certificated monitor would work.

Except that as far as I know the LFC (Low Framerate Compensation) starts at 48hz and lower. For me the LFC starts at around 53-54 fps/hz. So the refresh rate starts doubling up when it hits 53 fps and lower but it's supposed to double up when it hits 48 fps and lower.

The difference is very small I know but why is it happening?

I use the monitor's OSD frame counter that in reality shows the refresh rate, maybe it isn't that accurate and the LFC kicks in at 48 and lower?
