Hi all.

So I recently bought an used RX 6800XT (PowerColor Red Devil) and I'm unable to make the gpu show anything. According to the previous owner he tested the gpu in 2 different benches and worked just fine before me.

My setup:

Ryzen 7 5800x
2x16gb DDR4
Asrock B450 pro4 (was on newest bios but for troubleshooting went back to olders too)
1tb ssd
750W PSU (Chieftech)

What I found already:

I tested on a different bench with better board and my old RX 6700XT same brand and type worked aswell but the 6800 did not.

I looked for different methods such as cmos reset, reseating, other pcie slot and nothing. I have a GT 710 card to make sure not my motherboard fault.

What i see:

The card's leds lights up, the 2x8 pins buzzing but its due the quality of them, they did the same on my old card and worked just fine. When i cold shut down or start one of the fans spin for a millisec.

I'm 100% sure I boot into the OS

I'm getting out of ideas so I hope you guys can suggest some.

As you have tried 2 different systems and 2 different PSUs it points to the gpu as having an issue. The buzzing from the original psu is a little worrying and I wouldn't be comfortable using that for any gpu really. If there is an issue with it then it could have damaged the card worst case.

I take it there is no option to send the gpu back to the seller or at least ask if you can test it again in their system?

Your original post suggested that you had to ask them about it working but you later said you had seen it working yourself. Was that when you collected it or was it via a video?
