Why does my pc lag in starcraft 2?

Requirements wise I am about in the middle for minimum and max. The game suggests that I run on medium settings. My specs are,

Pentium 4 HT 3.4ghz
PNY geforce gt 430 1gb 128bit
2.75gb ram
windows xp sp3


And this is just the campaign that is lagging. It lags enough to where its unplayable. Dont know how torchlight is requirements wise against starcraft, but i can run torchlight on high everything just fine unless there is a ton of activity then i get a lil lag.

I ask you merc any recent updates or any new patches in the game? Are you multi-tasking while playing ?? Another thing how is your internet going? Have you run a internet speed/ping test? 😀 Let me know
