Hi all, recently ive been noticing that my CPU has been hitting 70-80 degress while gaming. Ive just purchased 2 new NF F12 industrialPPC-2000 PWM and replaced the stock fans on my cooler, i also cleaned and re applied some thermal grizzly kryonaut thermal paste. I seen the temps go down slightly but on my temp trackers max temps are still going to 70-80c. Why is this?

CPU - i7 7700k
CPU COOLER - corsair h100i v2(with 2 noctua NF F12 industrialPPC-2000 PWM)
GPU - gtx 1070

Hummm. No OC and cpu voltage is well within reason and high temps. Are you applying the correct amount of heat-sink compound? It only takes a little...about a peah size drop, move the heat-sink around slightly to even out the paste and fasten down. Maybe the s/w your using to monitor temps is acting strange. Have you tried HWmonitor by CPUID? Very accurate readings

I did put a pea size amount on, i will redo tomorrow. I use core temp to check my min/max temps and use msi afterburner to track temps and usage in games.

Clean out the dust if there is any. Use a monitoring software to make sure the fans are working correctly. Also, make sure the pump is working.
I clean the whole pc of dust at least once every month, i just checked corsair link and it says the pump is working

Think i might have sorted it lads, i diabled q fan control to let my pump run at full speed, did a cpu z stress test for about 10 mins and highest temp is 74c, better but is it good cause i dont have a clue

There's only a few AIO's that use variable speed pumps. Corsair isn't one of them. That pump should be running 100% at all times unless you switch the mode from performance to normal or silent. Qfan should be disabled and set for 100% duty cycle on the cpu header.

I disabled q fan and all is good now, getting 55-65c in games now

Those are more normal temps. I remember the old h100i (I believe it was) had a physical switch on the pump to set 3 modes, performance - normal-silent or some such. They did away with the physical switch in the next version cuz ppl didn't want to access the cpu area to change modes in game. So it was put into Corsair Link instead. Might want to check if you have that and it not on silent mode. CL should be reporting pump speeds of 2600rpm±.

I have both my pump and fan on performance mode, CL says my pump is at 3090rpm
