Question Why is my external HDD inaccessible on my pc but able on my android tv?

I was able to use the HDD previously and put some files in it but suddenly after a few days it won't work. It can be read on the PC but if you open it, it makes the PC lag. Same for the Defragment and Disk Management , it won't open unless you remove the external HDD. I tried this on 2 other PCs but it is no use. Also used another cable. The last thing I tried was plugging it on my tv and it works fine. Is it some kind of windows compatibility problem? I hope this narrows down the possibilities of the problem. Please help, thank you so much in advanced!!

Could be a power issue.

How do you connect the HDD to the PC?

I plug it on the USB3.0 port but on the regular USB ports the last time when it was still working fine.

Did you try all available USB ports?

Do you have any powered USB Hub to test?

No I haven't used all usb ports but I have tried it on 2 other PC. Also I don't have any powered USB hub
