Hi, Yesterday the power was cut off and my pc turned off. after that my pc is not sending audio in any audio device nor taking input of microphone. I have checked the port issue by running hp UEFI diagnostics and it seems that the port is ok and the headphones are also working fine on other devices. its just that the pc is not able to send audio to any device. I have also tried connecting a bluetooth device then connected my earbuds with it but it didn't send any audio to even a bluetooth device. I have reinstalled my drivers and checked out all the possible methods I could find on internet but nothing solved the issue. Is this something related to operating system now? Would be very thankful to the community for helping me out on this issue.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If reinstalling your audio drivers didn't help, then it's possible that your OS is corrupt. If you're working with Windows 10, might want to perform a system restore.

Just curious how did you reinstall the driver? To also, add, we're flying blind here without the mentioning of your PC's specs and how it's tethered to your audio equipment.

Specs:
HP Z420 Workstation
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1650 v2
GPU: AMD RX 590 8GB
RAM: 16.0 GB
Windows 10

I reinstalled my drivers by uninstalling the audio drivers and restarted my pc so it automatically installed them. I also completely uninstalled the driver software of my realtek then restart my pc and my windows only installed basic high audio definition driver and I manually installed realtek again to see if the issue is solved that way, However nothing worked.

I have a hunch that this is something related to operating system because why a bluetooth connected device was not working as well. I connected a bluetooth dongle and connceted my earbuds but it did not recieve any audio which was weird. My pc detected the earbuds and connected with no issues also the pause/play button on earbuds was working correctly which meant that the bluetooth device was connceted and working successfully, but no audio or microphone.

You said to perform system restore, do you mean formatting my pc?

Thank you very much! System restoring solved the issue. It was Operating System issue. I searched about it on google and just did it and it solved it. I am surprised that this type of solution was not anywhere on youtube or google or any other place. I was trying every possible method for straight 8 hours.
Thanks alot for telling me to perform system restore.
