Im building a gaming PC with Gigabyte X570 Aurus Master. I've built a few PCs in the past, but its been a while. Why does my motherboard have a power button on it, when the case itself has a power button? Whats the point of it? What does it do?

Solution
Here is what is said about it in your motherboard manual. "This motherboard has 2 quick buttons: power button and reset button. The power button and reset button allow users to quickly turn on/off or reset the computer in an open-case environment when they want to change hardware components or conduct hardware testing."
