Hi,
Out of 2 secondary drives in my system (one CD-ROM & one
DVD-ROM), the secondary master is working in UDMA-33 mode
while the secondary slave is working in MODE-4..(this is
as per the system information displayed in the boot up
screen.) Even by interchanging these drive's master/slave
position the effect is remaining same... Why does my
secondary slave always shows to be working in MODE-4 &
not in UDMA-33 ??? What to do to enable the secondary
slave work in UDMA-33 like the secondary master ???
thanks in advance..

Try a new/different cable.
