Question Why laptop's battery takes a long time to reach 100% charge level ?

We're going to need a little bit more info. What is the make, model and SKU of your laptop? BIOS version for said laptop? gae of the laptop? When asking for age, I meant when you'd purchased it, if it's used, tehn we'll need to look at when the latpop was released.

Slow charging of a laptop's battery can be for a number of reasons, a battery on it's way out or an impaired power delivery circuitry(also due to age) can be possible reasons.

It might be the way it was designed. The recommended charging method for the optimum battery life on lithium based batteries is to fast charge to 80% and the slow charge the last 20%. Not many devices charge that way it is something they learned about electric cars and discovered even cell phones benefit from that method. Then again the device manufacture want you to buy a new device when the battery dies anyway
