why my computer won't boot after i update its bios?

Could be a corrupt BIOS update - sometimes happens or you have updated with a BIOS for a slightly different revision of your motherboard.

Try taking the battery out of the motherboard for 10 minutes of so then replace it and try to boot - it could be something simple as the setting you previously used not working 100% with the new BIOS

Do you get a post(Power On Self Test, the screen with all the writing about your system, ect) screen or is it just blank?

If you get a post, go make sure your boot order is set right. If you had raid make sure to re enable it so the machine can see the array to boot from it.
