Question Why such low FPS on Rust?

I have googled and watched videos of people using the exact same setup as me (besides them having an SSD and I only have a HDD), and have 3x more FPS on even higher settings than I currently use.

Specs:
Ryzen 5 2600
GTX 1060 3GB
2x4 2400MHz
1TB TOSHIBA 7200RPM

I get about 10 - 60 FPS on Rust, depending on maps at lowest settings possible. Others play with high settings and are getting around 90 - 140 FPS. Could somebody please help me figure out what is happening?

What's the GPU and CPU temp value while gaming ? Which power supply unit are you using ? On what screen RES are you gaming, 1080p ? Are you using Windows 10 OS ? What about all other PC games, apart from RUST, do they also perform badly on your system ??

Try doing a clean re-install of the GPU drivers, or rollback the drivers, if required.

They are normal compared to average temps. I'm using a EVGA 500W1 power supply. 1280x1024. I'm using Windows 10 OS version 1903. All other PC games run perfectly fine, it is just rust.
