Why the 790gx?

through a lot of posts on various forums I look at peoples recommendations for am2 boards and everyone points out a 790gx board. My query is, a gx board has onboard graphics. The 790fx chipset has done me good and I'm wondering is the gx better than the fx?

Well do you want on board graphics, I have a 790FX Chipset and it is very good.

For a 790FX Chipset board I would recommend the Asus M3A79-T Deluxe

And for a 790G I would go for the DFI LanParty DK 790GX-M2RS

But I have never used the DFI board, just seen a lot of people liking it's overclock capabilities.
