WiFi extender help

Hello,

I am living in a house with 5 other people and we need something that can extend the WiFi connection. I am currently using a powerline for my computerfor a fast connection to the router, it's tp-libk 1200mbs.

Used for online gaming and uploading to youtube.

I would like to know if theres some type of WiFi extender what would work well but not slow down my computer's powerline as I need it for uploading to youtube.

What's the rating on your powerline? bet it's significantly more than your upload internet speed, so you shouldn't need to worry?

Hello,

Yeah I think I went a bit over kill with the power line as I wanted no cap.

Internet speed is at 120 max.

Also if I got a powerline WiFi adapter would it be too much on the bandwidth on the single Ethernet wire to the router?

Also do you think it could just be better to get a better router as ours is very old and to put it "crp". It also coil wine's.
