Question Will a HP 3400 PRO MT Support An Intel Xeon (E3-1275 V2),

The system originally came with a i3-2120 and i've recently been planning on on turning it into somewhat of a sleeper build by using an intel xeon, but im wondering if it will support it or will i just have to buy a new motherboard or do a bios update etc etc...

Motherboard serial or model number (idk) is: hp 657002-001

i've seen mixed answers online so i hope to get an exact answer here

Some HP systems can be reluctant to work with non-HP certified CPUs and RAM, which is why I haven't upgraded either of-my ML350P servers with another Xeon.

Second hand Xeons drom XP servers are quite cheap on eBay, so it might be worth taking a chance and trying one in your rig, provided it's in the list of compatible CPUs.
